About mobilereferrals.ca
Who runs this site
We’re a small, independent Canadian team. We don’t work for Public Mobile or TELUS, and nobody there reviews what we publish. We do use the service we write about — the referral code on this page belongs to a real, active Public Mobile account, because you can’t have a referral code without one.
We keep the team anonymous, but nothing else here is hidden: every number has a source, every page has a date, and how we earn is spelled out in plain language.
Why we built this site
Try answering a simple question like “where do I enter a Public Mobile referral code?” and you’ll see the problem. The official help article covers the basics, but the details people actually need — which field at Step 4 of checkout, what to do if you forgot the code, why a code sometimes doesn’t register — are scattered across years of community forum threads.
The pages that rank instead are often worse: affiliate sites advertising “up to $40” or “up to $50” in credits. Those figures come from short promos that ended in 2025, or from nowhere at all. The real number today is a one-time $10 credit for the new customer. That gap between what gets advertised and what’s true is the whole reason this site exists.
Our editorial principles
- Official numbers only. We publish the exact amounts Public Mobile publishes: $10 for the new customer, 1 Public Point per 30 days for the referrer. When a bonus promotion runs, we post its real dates, minimum plan, and limits. When it ends, we say it ended — no bonus promo is active as of July 13, 2026.
- Every page is dated. You can see when a page was published and when it was last checked, so you’re never reading a “July 2026” headline wrapped around 2024 information.
- No “best code” claims. Every valid referral code gives the identical $10 credit. A site telling you its code is the “best” or “highest-paying” is telling you something false. Ours works exactly as well as anyone’s — no better.
- We disclose how we earn. If you use the referral code on this page, we earn Public Points from Public Mobile. That’s it — no hidden commissions, and the credit you get is the same either way. Details on the how we earn page.
How we check our facts
Public Mobile changes its plan lineup almost monthly, and program terms shift too — the October 2025 Public Points changes and the 2025 bonus rounds are recent examples. So we re-verify every number on this site each month against official sources: the publicmobile.ca help centre, the program terms and conditions, and staff announcements on the official community forum. Where a fact only exists in a forum answer — like a support agent confirming a code can be added after activation — we say who confirmed it and when.
The full process, including what counts as a source and what doesn’t, is on our how we verify page.
Found a mistake?
If a number on this site is out of date, we want to know today, not next month. Contact us and we’ll check it against the official source and fix it — with the change logged on the page.
