How This Site Earns Money
The short version
This site earns money exactly one way: through Public Mobile’s regular refer-a-friend program. When a new customer activates with the referral code on this site, the account holder behind that code earns 1 Public Point every 30 days for as long as that customer stays active. One point equals $1 when redeemed. That works out to about $12 per year, per referral.
That’s it. That is the entire business model.
What we don’t do
- No payment from Public Mobile or TELUS. They don’t sponsor us, review us, or know us. This site is independent.
- No ads. Nothing on this site is a paid placement.
- No affiliate networks. Public Mobile has no affiliate program, and we don’t belong to any third-party one.
- No inflated claims. Some competing sites advertise “up to $40” or “up to $50” credits. Those numbers don’t exist. The real number is a one-time $10 credit for the new customer, applied within 72 hours — identical with every code, on any plan.
Why we think this is fair
You were going to see a “Referral Code” box at checkout anyway. Leaving it empty costs you $10. Filling it with the code on this page costs you nothing extra, gives you the same $10 as any other code, and earns us about $1 a month — which pays for keeping every guide here checked against official sources. You get the credit; we get a reason to keep the information accurate and free.
You don’t have to use our code
Honestly. If a friend or family member is already on Public Mobile, use their code — they’ll earn the monthly point instead, and your $10 is exactly the same. No friend on Public Mobile? Reddit’s r/PublicMobile community runs a referral bot that hands out members’ codes. Same credit there too.
